Overheating, or “what happens when we rub our hands without a built-in thermostat”
Abstract
Thomas Hylland Eriksen's book is an "outline and an overview" of an anthropology of accelerated change. Through analysing the various runaway processes that underlie crises of globalisation he defines the current interconnected world as a system of clashing scales that needs to be approached anthropologically through adding fresh and more encompassing methods.Downloads
